Camp Under SALEM SUE

North Park Campground

New Salem, North Dakota

We're back on the road for SEASON 3 and couldn't be more excited!

Camp underneath the world’s largest holstein in this cute little North Dakota town!

Located just off of the interstate, this was a great little stop on our way east. This campground has only about 20 spots, all with water and electric only, and a bargain at $20/night. It’s located in a city park, with a wonderful playground and 9-hole golf course both adjacent. There was also a paved bike/walking trail that goes around the local football field and historical society museum right next door. It was a great way to unwind after a long day on the road. The best part is Salem Sue, the world’s largest holstein, is perched on a nearby hill. I do believe there is also a road where you can drive right to the base of Sue to grab a phenomenal selfie.

We would absolutely stop here again on our way through. Two thumbs up!
