New Year's Eve was quite rainy in Myrtle Beach, so we spent a fair amount of time inside filling our hours with puzzles, antics, reading and games. In between downpours, we were sure to get outside to walk the dogs or ride bikes.
This was the first year that we all made it to midnight to ring in the New Year. (This is a big accomplishment for the Gentrys - especially Raymond.)
2020 was a year we will all remember for the monumental ways its changed our lives.
It was a huge year for us as a family. Changes and plans that we've talked about for years were put into action. We feel so blessed to start off in this new year with fresh perspective, grateful hearts, and adventures ahead.
As soon as the rain stopped and the sun came out, we hit the beach to greet 2021 properly. Frisbee at the beach is now all the rage for the boys.
Staying put for a month in Myrtle Beach was a really nice break for us. In the new year we'll be hitting the road again and making our way farther south, first to Charleston then Georgia and Florida. Leaving Carolina Pines will be bitter sweet but we're ready for the next adventure!
Cheers to a happy and healthy 2021 from our family to yours! XO - The Gentrys
