We were thrilled to get to explore the Jupiter area a little during our stay at Jonathon Dickinson State Park.
As you may have heard, Jupiter is home to many professional golfers and some of the nicest golf courses in the country. A drive down Jupiter Island is not only a showcase of multimillion dollar beach homes but also the best manicured tropical oasis around.
LOGGERHEAD MARINELIFE CENTER
We loved visiting the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Jupiter. This beautiful nonprofit is a sea turtle research, rehabilitation, education, and conservation center near Juno Beach. We had a great time learning about different turtle species and the conservation efforts by local volunteers.
Volunteers are eager to share information about some of the turtles being treated and are so welcoming to the kids. Bonus - it's totally free to get in (donations are encouraged.)
HOBE SOUND BEACH, JUPITER ISLAND
This gorgeous beach is paradise! The natural beach is tiered down to the water where the waves of the Atlantic brush up tiny shells along the soft sand. It's one of my favorite beaches that we've visited so far!
JUPITER INLET
The wind was blowing and the waves were rolling the day we visited the inlet, but what a beautiful view back towards the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse. I loved the surprise added bonus of a little history at DuBois Park, too.
STUART, FLORIDA!
We made a day trip north to finally visit Stuart, Florida! We didn't stay long but had fun exploring the cute downtown area and walking the boardwalk along the St. Lucie River.
