Check out the video from the HENRY FORD HERE.
The Henry Ford in Dearborn, MI, (Detroit) has been on our list for quite some time. We weren't super pumped about visiting the Detroit area, but we were so glad we made the stop. This place is phenomenal - just FULL of history. I couldn't even begin to list all of the things we saw here, but here are some of our favorites:
Steam Engines
Presidential Cars (including JFK's infamous ride)
Race Cars galore
the Wright Brother's first airplane
Model T's, Model A's, 999's... Henry Ford designs deluxe
GREENFIELD VILLAGE is adjacent to the HENRY FORD museum, and a living history full of HF's collection of homes, offices, workshops and relics of innovation in the past. Some of our favorites included:
Taking rides in a Model T and on a steam powered train
Visiting the Wright Brother's bicycle shop
Exploring Thomas Edison's office and studio
Walking through Noah Webster's house
Riding on a century-old carousel
